The Five Theme Framework™
Each 10-week session is built on one theme. We name what the culture teaches children, then discover together what God's Word says, through science, history, math, writing and real projects.

Genesis 1:27
The culture says
Your identity is whatever you decide it is.
Children discover
Every person is made in God's image, with dignity and purpose, and we are one human race.

Genesis 1 · Psalm 19
The culture says
Life is an accident of millions of years, with no design and no Designer.
Children discover
God created the world in six days, and creation declares His glory. Earth history and science from Genesis.

Psalm 31:15
The culture says
The universe runs on chance, and nobody is holding it together.
Children discover
God made and upholds the world and its laws. Geology, astronomy and biology through a biblical lens.

Revelation 22:13
The culture says
History has no direction, and faith had little to do with building our world.
Children discover
History begins and ends with God. Babel, the people groups of the world and the Christian roots of civilization.

John 17 · Romans 12:2
The culture says
Success means power, money and fitting in.
Children discover
How to live faithfully in government, work and money, and care for the poor, without being shaped by the world.
One theme. One Driving Question. Ten weeks.
Your helpers never need to invent a lesson. Each session arrives complete: the big question, the weekly plan, the workbook and the final project.
Included with every session
Every partner church receives print-ready wall displays for the theme you are running. Print them, pin them up, and let the walls teach all week.
A3 portrait · print at A3 or scale up to A2 for a feature wall
Cut, laminate and add a card each week
A Scripture-anchored display that grows across the ten weeks: the theme, the big picture, the Driving Question and the term verse, then the key concepts and the words for each week. Children watch the story build on the wall.
Shown: the Made in His Image set. Card sets are written for each age group, from early years to Years 9–10.
The Kingdom Inquiry Cycle
A session isn't ten separate lessons. It's one connected inquiry around a Driving Question, moving through six phases.

Running live in Australia

These five programs are running now with homeschool families across Australia. Every age group explores the same theme, Made in His Image, at its own level, around one big question.
Grades K–2
Ages 5–8
“Who am I, who made me, and how can I use the gifts God gave me to create?”
Grades 3–4
Ages 8–10
“What does the way humans imagine, create and make show us about being made in the image of God?”
Grade 6
Ages 10–12
“What does it mean to be made in the image of God, and how should that shape the way we live?”
Grades 7–8
Ages 12–14
“Who gets to define what a human being is, and if God does, what do we owe Him and each other?”
Grades 9–10
Ages 14–16
“Who shapes the future when AI, gene editing and power outpace wisdom?”
Each comes with a 10-week workbook and a project students build across the session. See inside the sample packs
Your church's program
These are examples, not a fixed package. We create programs to suit your church's context and the age groups you have, beginning under one of our five themes.
Ages 8 and up have two 60-minute live sessions a week; under-8s have three 25-minute sessions. The rest is hands-on project work. Each age group starts once 5 students enroll, and families from neighboring churches are welcome.
Creator of KTA+
Our story
Kale Kneale spent more than 15 years inside schools as a teacher, housemaster and school leader. Working closely with students and their families kept bringing him back to one question: what does a child actually need to flourish?
When his own children came along, the question got personal. He wanted an education that was academically rich, deeply personal, ready for the world they'll actually enter, and grounded in God's Word. He couldn't find it, so he started building it.
Kingdom Thinkers Academy grew with homeschool families across Australia. Today Kale mentors around 20 children a week and leads live classes reaching about 50 more. Now he wants to help local churches give their families the same thing, right in their own buildings.
“I started asking a simple question: if I could build the education I want for my own children, what would it look like?”
Our family
Kale and his family moved from Australia's Sunshine Coast to the United States in 2026. With two young children of their own, they're walking the same road as the families in your church: raising kids who know God, think clearly and love people well.
Classes are still running for Australian families, and they're now beginning for US families and churches.
In their words
Our first US groups are forming now, so these words come from our Australian families.
“KTA has taught my son how to think critically, analyze, and even find hope again for his future and learning journey.”
Jennifer · KTA+ parent, Australia“It has taken the pressure off us knowing that someone is supporting our daughter’s needs and what she wants to learn about.”
Ryan · KTA+ parent, Australia“The KTA educators & community have been amazing & so encouraging. We are surely proud to be a part of this learning community.”
Martene · KTA+ parent, AustraliaPricing

What we believe
Before you open your doors, you should know exactly what will be taught in your rooms. Every lesson, workbook and mentor conversation stands on these fourteen convictions. Scripture in our materials is quoted from the NASB.
We believe in the doctrinal infallibility and historicity of the original manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments.
We hold to the God of Israel as the One true God, a Triune God in three persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Salvation is by God’s grace alone through faith in Christ alone; new birth comes by repentance and faith in Jesus as the only provision for sin.
Jesus died on the cross, making a full and satisfactory atonement for man’s sin.
Humanity and creation are fallen; no one can justify themselves before a perfect God.
Genesis 1–11 records actual history; creation days were six consecutive 24-hour days; a global flood occurred in Noah’s day; we reject attempts to fit evolution or millions of years into Genesis.
Male and female reflect God’s image; life begins at conception; abortion and euthanasia violate the sanctity of life; there is one human race with equal dignity for all.
Marriage is between one man and one woman; gender and biological sex are equivalent and cannot be separated.
Parents are responsible to bring up children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Gentiles who place their faith in Jesus are grafted into God’s covenant people through faith, sharing in the blessings of God’s promises alongside believing Jews, as described in Romans 11. God’s covenant with Israel is irrevocable, and His redemptive purposes include Israel’s preservation, regathering, and future salvation.
We hold to a pre-millennial return of Christ, when He will establish His millennial Kingdom on earth.
We seek Spirit-led unity with Bible-based evangelicals while rejecting ecumenism with groups holding a different gospel or authority.
God promises the continuance of seasons despite climate changes.
We reject modern forms of social justice, intersectionality, and critical race theory as anti-biblical and destructive to human flourishing.
Questions about any of these? Kale is glad to talk them through with your pastor or elders. Book a 15- or 30-minute call.
Questions pastors ask
Not to start. In the co-op model, each family stays its own home school and chooses Kingdom Thinkers Academy as its curriculum, while your church hosts the learning days. Churches that later want a full-time program can talk with Kale about registering their own school. Requirements vary by state, so please confirm yours with your state homeschool association or an education attorney.
It depends on how you partner. Hosting is free: families enroll and pay Kingdom Thinkers Academy directly, and your church gives the space, a coordinator and helpers. With a Partner license, your church runs the program as its own ministry, pays per student (from $25 a week each, billed per 10-week session) and sets its own family tuition. A full church school is priced with you.
Live sessions are led online by Kale and trained Kingdom Thinkers Academy educators. Your helpers supervise the room and guide project work, with at least one trained helper for every 8 students and training before launch.
Yes. Every partnership includes live online sessions with Kale each week. Kale leads your launch info night in person within about 60 miles (100 km) of Raleigh, NC, or live online if you are further away. Other in-person visits are part of the plan we build with you and are priced by distance, so churches near us and further away can both take part.
No. Every workbook prints, and parents choose each week whether their child works on paper or in KTA+ Learn. Students who bring a laptop can log in to the same live Zoom call, and the call is streamed on a screen with speakers in the room for everyone else.
Learning starts from a biblical worldview, including six-day creation. Our full statement of faith is on this page, and we'll talk it through in the first conversation.
The Transformation Network LLC, our US delivery partner, is an approved Arizona ESA vendor, and other states are in progress. Rules vary, so Kale will confirm what applies to your families.
